In 1954 the United Nations declared Universal Children’s Day as a day to promote friendship and understanding among children of the world.
“Football has the power to unite children,” Muscat said.
“It-s a great way for kids to get active, keep healthy and most of all, have fun. And as football is a team sport, it provides kids with the opportunity to develop long lasting friendships,” he said.
Victory is encouraging boys and girls in Victoria to celebrate Universal Children-s Day to by playing a game of football with their friends.
