More than 500 guests were treated to an exclusive night at the Melbourne Victory 2009 Banquet Auction, proudly sponsored by Intralot Australia, at Peninsula at Central Pier last Friday.
Guests at the Bond-themed evening were snapped by the paparazzi upon making their way down the red carpet, past the Aston Martin and yachts on display, before being greeted on arrival with martinis and an array of auction items.
A new Hyundai Tucson and Tourism Malaysia travel packages were amongst the big-ticket items up for grabs, while the Intralot Lucky Cards saw one guest take home a new Samsung 42″ HD plasma television and several Apple iPhones given away.
Paul Vallos and Christine Newnham claimed the Intralot Best Dressed Award for their Bond-inspired efforts, while Ooh James provided entertainment and Melbourne Victory’s own Leigh Broxham spun tracks throughout the night.
