On Wednesday night 150 kids aged between 8 and 16 lived their dream of playing on AAMI Park alongside stars of Melbourne Victory-s Men-s & Women-s teams thanks to Clear Solar.
The kids were divided into teams and allocated a SEDA coach to take them through the evening of ten-minute games on 8 mini pitches. Before the festivities could get underway the coaches took their teams through a number of warm up exercises. Then it was time for the games to begin with the special guest referees, Robbie Kruse, Grant Brebner, Leigh Broxham, Billy Celeski, Marvin Angulo, Surat Sukha, Matthew Kemp, Ashley Brown and Rita Mankowska keeping an eye on proceedings.
With many jealous parents watching on from the stands, Melbourne-s newest stadium was by taken over by the next generation of Kruse-s and Brown-s showing off their skills in front of their idols.
After a long night of games under the AAMI Park lights it was time for the kids to relax and meet the stars of the A-League & W-League competition with photo-s and autographs topped-off with showbag to remember the occasion.
A big thank you to Clear Solar, Football Federation Victoria and Melbourne Victory, for their help in organising such a great night.
