On Saturday’s clash with Sydney…
“It’s going to be an awesome atmosphere – we’re hoping a lot of people turn up. Everyone’s got that buzz around them now leading into that first game.”
On Victory’s pre-season…
“It’s been a great pre-season for us. We’ve built off the back of last year which is great – we set the foundations and added some new additions to the team. We’ve adapted our style a bit to progress and get better.”
“It’s been nice to have a normal pre-season where we didn’t have to focus on covid like previous seasons.”
On the team’s motivation…
“We came off the back of last season feeling disappointed, which I think is a good thing.”
“We had a good year but it’s not where we want to be. We’re always striving to be better and at the end of the day, we want to win titles.”
On Victory’s off-season signings…
“It’s been great adding them to the team. They add a lot of depth and character to our squad.”
“Nani’s such an exciting player to play with – he’s got a lot of character in the way he plays his football and it’s going to be enjoyable to watch for the fans.”
