The successful applicant will be based at Football Federation Victoria and be responsible for the delivery of Melbourne Victory-s National Youth League program and FFV-s Victorian Training Centre (VTC) Youth program. The coach will oversee the delivery of the NYL and VTC programs for selected players and assist in developing and maintaining a talent identification network within Victoria. The coach will also be required to support the Regional Academy programs and Victorian Champions League coaches.
The Coach will be required to work outside of normal office hours and interstate/intrastate travel is an expected part of the role. The position will be based in Melbourne.
The NYL/VTC coach must be able to show initiative, be motivated to achieve challenging goals and be able to operate unsupervised. An AFC ‘A- licence or UEFA equivalent is mandatory as is experience working in the areas of talented player development and the ongoing management of this program.
Leadership, communication and stakeholder management are also key competency requirements.
Tertiary Qualified in either human movement science, sports science or sports management would be advantageous.
