Melbourne Victory goalkeeper Danny Vukovic has been nominated for the 2015/16 Professional Footballers Australia A-League Team of the Season.
Voted on by all of the PFA’s A-League members, the nominees were the four goalkeepers who polled the most votes.
With the team set to be announced during Grand Final week, the four nominees are:
- Danny Vukovic (Melbourne Victory)
- Thomas Sorensen (Melbourne City)
- Mark Birighitti (Newcastle Jets)
- Eugene Galekovic (Adelaide United)
After departing Perth Glory at the end of last season, Vukovic made 23 Hyundai A-League appearances in his debut season for Victory.
Vukovic also became the first player to make 250 Hyundai A-League appearances, reaching the milestone in Round 23.
