Information on our December 13 clash

Etihad Stadium management has informed the Club today that due to unscheduled maintenance required to its retractable seating, the preferred rectangular seating formation will not be in use for our next home game against Sydney FC at Etihad Stadium.

The issue relates to the mechanics and movement of the stands and is expected to be completed in time for the Melbourne Derby between Victory and City at Etihad Stadium on February 7, 2015.
 
The Club has discussed all options with the stadium management, however there is no other alternative at this time. Etihad Stadium acknowledge that use of the retractable seating has been generating a fantastic atmosphere this season and therefore are extremely disappointed for Victory members and fans that this work has to occur at this time.
 
This development will not result in any changes for members with reserved seats at Etihad Stadium and all members can scan in as usual.
 
With the seats unable to be moved into the rectangular format, we can confirm there will be an increased capacity of General Admission seating available on Level One of Etihad Stadium for the match against Sydney FC on December 13. An updated seating map can be seen below:
