Melbourne Victory has added three players to an extended squad for its Hyundai A-League clash with Wellington Phoenix on Melbourne Cup Eve.
James Troisi has been named to make his return from injury, with the attacking midfielder cleared to play after suffering a fractured collarbone earlier this month.
Troisi has trained strongly over the past week and could feature for Victory at Etihad Stadium on Monday night.
Stefan Nigro and Jai Ingham have also been promoted, while captain Carl Valeri has been ruled out due to soreness.
Max Beister, who arrived in Melbourne on Wednesday, will be given further time to settle before making his debut for the club.
Victory is fifth on the Hyundai A-League ladder with four points after three rounds, while Wellington is yet to get off the mark in the last place.
The two teams met three times last season, with Victory recording two wins and a loss.
