Students from Pascoe Vale North Primary School have won some special equipment and a visit from Scott Galloway and Lawrence Thomas as part of Melbourne Victory’s Kickin’ Around with Victory.
Melbourne Victory Football Club (MVFC) in association with Sports Education & Development Australia, (SEDA) is pleased to continue the ‘Kickin’ Around with Victory’ schools program in 2014. The program is aimed at students in grades 3 through 6, with the main emphasis being on participation.
Pascoe Vale North Primary School students said they enjoyed the program, telling us they enjoyed the following parts of the clinic:
“We get to kick the ball.”
“It was good to learn skills and we got to move around a lot.”
“We love to celebrate when we score a goal.”
“I like making saves.”
More than 15,000 kids have taken part in the Kickin’ Around with Victory program.
Drills include:
- Dribbling
- Goal kicking
- Passing and defending
- Competitions
