Melbourne Victory will celebrate Leigh Broxham’s 300th Hyundai A-League appearance for the club when it takes on Perth Glory on Friday night.

Our Y-League lads will take on Perth Glory in Round 3 of the 2019/20 season in a curtain-raiser before the A-League match. Get there early to support the boys, who come into the game on the back of a 1-0 win away in Adelaide. Kick-off is at 4.30pm.

#Brox300 celebration

Leigh Broxham will become the first person to play 300 A-League games for one club on Friday night. The club will be celebrating this awesome achievement in the following ways:

  • Look out for BroxCam on the big screen

  • Write a congratulatory message for Brox in Victory Village

  • Pose next to Brox 300 lights

  • Get your photo taken with Brox through the ages at Victory Village

  • TAC Victoria will be distributing Leigh Broxham figurines

  • Brox300 tees will be available exclusively on match day form all merch outlets for $40

  • Free name and number for Broxham 6 jersey orders available at all merch outlets

  • Post-match presentation on pitch

Transport & parking

We strongly encourage all patrons to take Public Transport to the venue. If you’re driving, you can pre-book parking at the Eastern Plaza here. Yarra Park (Gate 5) will be open, however this is subject to capacity and weather – please check the MCG website for updates. The VicRoads website has live updates on traffic conditions and disruptions.

New food offerings
AAMI Park is excited to present a number of brand new food offerings available at the stadium; Swanky Franks hot dogs, Hola! Fresh Mexican and Market plus a special Eat Drink Victory outlet exclusive to Melbourne Victory home matches. To celebrate Friday Night Lights there are two food deals on offer: Swanky Franks Cart (Level 1 southern end) will be offering $15 Hot Dog & Drink Combo and Hola Fresh (Level 1, North end) will be offering $9 Nachos.

Half-time
Delphi Bank’s Chase the Coin competition is back for the 2019/20 season. The Chase the Coin challenge gives seven lucky winners throughout the A-League season the chance to run the length of the football pitch, chasing virtual coins for the opportunity to win up to $1,000. TAC Victoria will be giving some lucky contestants the chance to win a corporate suite at a Victory game in its half-time Towards Zero kick competition.

Get your phones ready to partake in adidas’ big screen competition – you could win a $500 adidas voucher just by taking a photo.

Post-match
Andrew Nabbout, Robbie Kruse, Jakob Poulsen, Tommy Deng & Brandon Lauton will be visiting the post-match social club function at Edwin’s cafe – this event is free for 2019/20 members. We will also be holding a raffle, with prizes including a signed jersey and ball.
