Melbourne Victory extends its partnership with Local Brewing Co.

Melbourne Victory is pleased to announce it has extended its partnership with Local Brewing Co. for a further three seasons as the Official Beer Partner.

The partnership, which saw the creation of Victory’s first bespoke beer, the ‘Victory Draught’, will see the brewing company continue to produce the Club’s Official Beer as well as maintain its place as the Official Away Venue for the coming season at their Clifton Hill taphouse.

Local Brewing’s away goal initiative with SecondBite, a non-for-profit organisation delivering surplus fresh food directly to Aussies in need, will also continue this season, with Local Brewing continuing to donate 1,000 meals for each goal scored during away matches throughout the 2023/24 season. The initiative saw Local Brewing donate 12,000 meals last season.

Melbourne Victory Managing Director, Caroline Carnegie said she was thrilled to continue the partnership with Local Brewing.

“We’re incredibly pleased to have Local Brewing recommit for a multi-year partnership with the Club to continue the incredible synergy between our brands.  It’s even more pleasing and exciting that our relationship which kicked off following an introduction between the Local Brewing team and the Club at our member forum 2 years ago” Carnegie said.

“Local Brewing are proudly Melbourne made and owned and the success of the partnership in our first season with the Victory Draught has shown the thirst for a partnership like this amongst our members and fans.

Local Brewing Co. Co-Founder, Nick Campbell said the partnership with Melbourne Victory reflects his brand’s ethos in providing a product for Melbournians, by Melburnians.

“After the success of our partnership last season, we couldn’t be more excited to be extending our relationship with the Melbourne Victory,” Campbell said.

“We’ve been working hard in the off-season to improve the recipe to be more clean, crisp and accessible for the enjoyment of all Victory supporters.”

Campbell also said that there are new elements to the partnership this season that will enhance member engagement and community.

“We are stoked to announce our Taproom in Clifton Hill will be the Official Away Venue for all Melbourne Victory Men’s matches, creating a unique fan zone with house-made pizzas, drink specials and activations throughout the season,” he said.

“Our beers will be available at all Melbourne Victory Women’s matches at the new Home of the Matildas at the newly created beer garden on the hill.”

Victory fans will be able to pre-order Victory Draught online, and there will be announcements soon on where to purchase cases from select Liquorlands in Melbourne.
