Melbourne Victory is set to travel west this September for two pre-season fixtures against Perth Glory, as part of the Glory’s regional south west tour of Western Australia.
The A-League Men’s squad will take on Perth Glory in Mandurah and Bunbury, using the tour as a key training camp in preparation for the 2025/26 Isuzu UTE A-League season.
Managing Director Caroline Carnegie said the Club is looking forward to returning to Western Australia and engaging with regional communities.
“We’re excited to be heading to regional Western Australia for our 2025 pre-season tour and would like to thank the WA State Government, City of Mandurah, City of Bunbury and Perth Glory for making this trip possible,” she said.
“As a Club we see the benefits of a regional strategy, and it is something we are continuing to explore and develop ourselves. To be part of Perth Glory’s annual regional WA tour aligns with our values, along with the vision we have of continuing to build our game and our Club through regional communities. In 2023, the boys enjoyed our pre-season visit to regional Western Australia and we are looking forward to engaging with the local communities again while we continue our preparations for the upcoming Isuzu UTE A-League season.
“We will be bringing our full squad of players to WA, so we are sure it will be a competitive series.
“Our supporters are always wonderful at turning up to support the Club, wherever we play, and we look forward to seeing them in Mandurah and Bunbury.”
