Melbourne Victory are set to take on Perth Glory in two pre-season fixtures in preparation for the upcoming A-League Men’s campaign, facing the Glory first in Mandurah on Sunday, September 21.
Approaching closer to the kick-off of the Isuzu Ute A-League season, Victory will face off against the Glory as part of their regional south-west tour of Western Australia, beginning in Mandurah on Sunday and ending in Bunbury on Wednesday, September 24.
Undefeated against the Glory since January 2023, Victory will hope to continue their success over their pending opponents and complete two important pre-season hit-outs.

With the squad set and complete following the closure of the A-League Men’s transfer window, Victory will be keen to utilise all the new faces joining the team for the upcoming season.
Facing Wrexham AFC, Caroline Springs George Cross, Olympic Kingsway, Hume City, Oakleigh Cannons, Northcote City and Adelaide United so far during the off-season, Victory have already taken on a wide range of opponents across a variety of locations.
The Club’s first signings of 2025/26, 23-year-old duo Keegan Jelacic and Louis D’Arrigo, have been standouts, with Jelacic already recording two goals and an assist, while D’Arrigo particularly impressed in midfield against Hume with a goal-and-assist performance.
Leading the line, Greek striker Nikos Vergos has become particularly influential and heavily involved in Victory’s attacking play, linking up particularly well with Jelacic and registering a total of two goals and three assists so far.
The returning Jason Davidson will be keen to build up his match fitness after making his first appearance back in navy blue against Adelaide United, while new signings Denis Genreau, Matthew Grimaldi, Jack Warshawsky, Oliver Dragicevic and Juan Mata all join up with the travelling squad.

Perth Glory
Following two consecutive wooden-spoon finishes in the past two Isuzu UTE A-League seasons, Perth Glory certainly appear well-equipped for a much-improved 2025/26 campaign.
Along with retaining existing key players such as Luke Amos, Lachlan Wales and Trent Ostler, the Glory have strengthened their squad with proven A-League Men’s recruits, including Brian Kaltak, Scott Wootton, Sam Sutton, Callum Timmins and Mark Birighitti.
Making their way into the national stage of the Australia Cup following a comeback 3-2 win against Central Coast Mariners in Darwin, Glory were knocked out in the Round of 32 of the competition against Wellington Phoenix following a dramatic penalty shootout.
After a convincing 9-0 defeat to Italian giants AC Milan at HBF Park on July 31, Perth managed to rebound well with an impressive 7-2 win over Stirling Lions earlier in the month.
Coming up against the Socceroo star striker and club captain, Adam Taggart, Victory will be in for an exciting first hit-out against the Glory in Mandurah on Sunday.
