Melbourne Victory is pleased to announce that Tom Fawdry has joined the club’s Hyundai A-League coaching panel as Goalkeeper Coach for the next two seasons.

Fawdry, 32, hails from the small town of Horley in Surrey, England and has previously worked at Charlton Athletic and Portsmouth in his native country.

After moving to Australia in January 2018 to work with Brisbane Roar, Fawdry now finds himself with Melbourne Victory where he will work closely with goalkeepers Lawrence Thomas, Matthew Acton and Matthew Sutton.

“It’s an honour to join such a prestigious club and I’m extremely excited to work with two very experienced senior goalkeepers,” said Fawdry.

“I intend to create both a positive and challenging working environment for the goalkeepers and contribute to opening up a pathway for young goalkeepers at Victory.”
