Melbourne Victory will join forces with the TAC at Birrarung Marr, after the popular venue was chosen as the city-s live site for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

Not only do Victorians have the opportunity to support their beloved Socceroos at the live site, but they can also reinforce the need to reduce speed and ultimately reduce death and injury on our roads.

Along with the Wipe off 5 and Keep the Support Alive messages, the TAC is promoting the Yellowcard.tv campaign. As of Thursday June 10, Melburnians can create and send a personalised video message to a friend that is potentially a dangerous driver at www.yellowcard.tv (Click here)

For every Yellow Card you send, you will go into the draw for the ultimate football experience. The winner and a friend will travel to the Harbour City in August to watch Melbourne Victory play Sydney FC, in a rematch of the 2009/10 Grand Final.

In conjunction with this, three minor winners will receive entry into the Melbourne Victory Wipe Off 5 Lounge at Birrarung Marr for Australia-s 2nd (Ghana) and 3rd (Serbia) group-stage matches. Entries close on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 so start sending your Yellow Cards now!

The Melbourne Victory Wipe Off 5 Lounge offers guests VIP viewing facility. Out of the cold and in a fully-heated marquee, you-ll have unparalled views of the huge screen at Birrarung Marr from an elevated area full of comfortable couches. Hot drinks will also be available and there will be plenty of fun and games to be had.

Right throughout the Socceroos campaign, Birrarung Marr is the place to be. With Melbourne Victory stars on hand to, fans are encouraged to get down and mingle with some of our finest home-grown talent.

Star midfielder Leigh Broxham will show-off his skills as a DJ – up on stage for a 40 minute set in the lead up to the Australia vs Ghana clash at midnight on Saturday night, June 19.

There will also be plenty of signed merchandise up for grabs too, as well as tickets to Melbourne Victory vs Boca Juniors at Etihad Stadium on Friday, July 16, fixture posters, stickers and tattoos for the kids.
