Melbourne Victory has finalised its squad for the Foxtel National Youth League 2016/17 season.

Led by NPL/NYL head coach Gareth Naven, the squad of 20 consists mostly of players who represented Victory’s senior and under-20 teams in the 2016 PlayStation 4 NPL Victoria competition.

The new faces include 18-year-old Felix Dimitrakis, who arrives from Nunawading City, and 17-year-old Brady Quinn from Bentleigh Greens.

Three members of the squad – Sebastian Pasquali, Joshua Hope and Christian Theoharous – have already represented Victory at senior level.

The Foxtel National Youth League 2016/17 fixture was released this week, with Victory travelling to take on Brisbane Roar in Round 1, before a Melbourne Derby at Lakeside Stadium on November 19.

Similar to last season, the competition will consist of 10 teams divided into two conferences; Conference A (Adelaide United, Brisbane Roar, Melbourne Victory, City and Perth Glory) and Conference B (Central Coast Mariners, FFA Centre of Excellence, Newcastle Jets, Sydney FC and Western Sydney Wanderers).

Within each conference, teams will play each other twice over 10 rounds (four home and four away, with two byes per team).

Victory will play two home games at Lakeside Stadium, one at AAMI Park, and one at Epping Stadium.

The winner of each conference will meet in the Foxtel National Youth League 2017 Grand Final on either January 28 or 29.
