Victory names squad for Adelaide away

Melbourne Victory has added two players to an extended squad for Saturday night’s match against Adelaide United at Coopers Stadium.

Rashid Mahazi and Stefan Nigro have both been promoted to an 18-man squad, with James Troisi (collarbone) the only player unavailable through injury.

Maximilian Beister, who joined Victory on loan from German club Mainz on Wednesday, is expected to arrive in Melbourne next week.

Victory is looking for its first win of the Hyundai A-League season in Adelaide, following a draw with Brisbane Roar and loss to Melbourne City.

Victory has lost just one of its past nine matches against United, although that loss came in the most recent meeting between the two sides.

On the other hand, Victory has not won in Adelaide since September 2009, recording four draws and four losses in the South Australian capital since then.

The match will be broadcast live on Fox Sports 505 from 7.30pm AEDT. Tickets are available by clicking here.
