Melbourne Victory is giving local football clubs across the state the chance to win an exclusive visit from superstar Harry Kewell this month.
The competition, starting on Monday, March 5, gives Victorian clubs the chance to win a highly sought after visit from the star striker, along with over $4,000 worth of prizes including;
* A visit from Harry Kewell
* Signed Melbourne Victory Merchandise
* A $2000 adidas equipment pack
* $500 KFC voucher
* $500 Body Science supplements voucher
* $500 Oliana Foods voucher
* $1000 community grant
Coinciding with Football Federation Australia-s (FFA-s) Grassroots Football month, the competition will provide much needed funding for one struggling local football club.
Managing Director of Melbourne Victory, Richard Wilson, said the initiative was a fantastic opportunity to give back to local clubs and help support grassroots football.
“As a football club, we take our community social responsibility very seriously and are proud to have had a positive impact on over 75,000 juniors through our programs in 2011,” Mr Wilson said.
“This initiative is another way we want to add value to grassroots football and coincides with the FFA-s promotion of a grassroots football month.”
The competition kicks-off today, with entries closing Thursday, 22 March.
