Melbourne Victory is pleased to confirm it has signed Storm Roux and Corey Brown for the next two seasons.

Roux, a New Zealand international, joins from the Central Coast Mariners where he made in excess of 100 appearances over five seasons with the club, playing mostly as a right-back.

Brown, a regular fixture at left-back in Australia’s under-age ranks, heads to Melbourne following seven seasons and 88 A-League appearances with Brisbane Roar.

Head Coach Kevin Muscat was delighted to have secured Roux, 25, and Brown, 24 until the conclusion of the 2019/20 season.

“Both Storm and Corey are exciting prospects and we’re really keen to see how they adapt to life as Melbourne Victory players,” said Muscat.

“They’ve both played a lot of senior football, so they’re known quantities from that perspective, but still young enough to have plenty of good football ahead of them.

“The squad is starting to take shape and we’ll be working hard over the next period to bring in not only some quality foreigners, but also players that will add to the depth and overall quality of the playing group.”
