Melbourne Victory players Archie Thompson, Nick Ward and Daniel Vasilevski have thrown their support behind Movember by donning moustaches to raise awareness of men’s health issues.

Movember raises awareness around men’s health issues and funds for carefully selected beneficiary partners that are also charitable organisations, with a focus on prostate cancer and depression in men.

One of those organisations is the Victorian Prostate Cancer Research Consortium, which is one of Victory-s major charity partners.

Prostate cancer is a health, social and economic problem, which not only affects the men who contract the disease, but has a significant impact on their partners, families and the whole community.
