Melbourne Victory has helped budding young coaches improve their coaching skills, lending a hand to deliver School Sport Victoria’s ‘Quality School Sport Pilot Project-.

This initiative is designed to create a workforce of “Sport Ambassadors” (SA-s) who will promote the benefits of sport to young people and support the delivery of football in schools, providing greater opportunities for participation.

Over the next two weeks, Melbourne Victory will be providing a money can-t buy experience for more than 60 students. Today the students were given an exclusive behind the scenes tour of AAMI Park, a chance to watch a Melbourne Victory training session and a meet and greet with the boys and coaching staff.

Football Federation Victoria also showed its support for the ‘Quality School Sport Pilot Project- in delivering the grassroots coaching certificate to all students, providing their first steps into coaching and leadership in football.
