Victory will look to better their Elimination Final defeat this season as Hopkins side face a side they have been historically dominant against.
Despite a range of departures, Hopkins’ side has used the off-season to strengthen its ranks with a range of key additions to the squad. Ellie Wilson, Claudia Bunge, Sofia Sakalis, Nicki Flannery and Alana Jancevski headlined the new additions to the squad as Victory look to return to the summit of the Ninja A-League this season.
A positive pre-season saw Hopkins side go undefeated with a win against Western United and a 0-0 draw with Canberra in Albury.
Victory are undefeated in the last five contests with the Reds with four wins and one draw with the last defeat coming in February 2022.
In fact, Victory have only lost five matches against Adelaide in their history, winning 19 and drawing 3.
