Melbourne Victory is pleased to announce the signing of midfielder Rachel Lowe for the 2023/24 Liberty A-League season.
The 22-year-old joins the Club from Sydney FC, beginning her career with Western Sydney Wanderers as a 15-year-old and has scored 11 goals in 74 A-League Women’s appearances r.
Lowe has represented her country at senior international level, making her Matilda’s debut in 2018 against China at the Algarve Cup in Portugal.
Melbourne Victory Head Coach, Jeff Hopkins said he was thrilled to welcome the talented midfielder into the squad for the upcoming season.
“We’re extremely pleased to have Rachel join the team for the upcoming season,” Hopkins said.
“She is an incredible talent who can play anywhere in the forward and midfield thirds and has a vast range of experience at A-League Women’s level at such a young age.
“She has a drive and desire to win and that is the type of player we believe will complement our squad as we continue to build for the upcoming season.”
Lowe was also looking forward to the move to Melbourne.

Lowe is the first new signing of the 2023/24 A-League Women’s season, joining the re-signing of Kayla Morrison and the already contracted group of Claudia Bunge, Beattie Goad, Jessika Nash and Miranda Templeman.
