Melbourne Victory is pleased to announce that it has elevated winger Kasey Bos to the Isuzu UTE A-League squad.
The 19-year-old has been a part of Melbourne Victory’s Academy, playing his latest season with the Club’s NPL3 side and featuring in the Australia Cup clash against Newcastle Jets in Darwin.
Melbourne Victory Director of Football, John Didulica, said Bos has made important steps in his development to see him earn the call-up to the senior side.
“We’re incredibly pleased to see another Academy graduate work their way into the first team and Kasey has shown over the past two years that he’s ready to make the step up,” Didulica said.
“He’s a dynamic, versatile left-sided player who has the ability to be deployed in both defence and attack and follows a pathway of Academy graduates to our A-League Men’s side.”
Bos was also excited to join the senior group.
“I’m looking forward to the challenge ahead with the squad and I want to give everything I can for the team,” Bos said.
“This is an exciting opportunity to work with the coaches and staff at an elite level and I’m excited to see what’s to come.”
Bos joins Nishan Velupillay, Matthew Bozinovski, Joshua Inserra and Christian Siciliano as current graduates of Victory’s Academy currently in the A-League Men’s squad.
