The Young Socceroos have ended their tour of South America with a 2(5)-2(4) and 3-1 loss to Chile.
The Young Socceroos assembled in Montevideo to begin preparations for their first fixture with Uruguay on June 5, before relocating to Santiago for back-to-back matches against Chile on June 8 and 11.
Kayne Razmovski started for the Young Socceroos in the team’s opening match against Uruguay, while Josh Inserra was an unused substitute. The match ended in a 3-3 draw, with our boys ultimately suffering defeat on penalties.
Inserra was then named captain for the team’s 2(5)-2(4) penalty loss against Chile while Razmovski once again got the start in the following fixture against ‘La Roja’ in a 2-1 defeat.
