Melbourne Victory are through to a third Australia Cup Final after a 1-0 win over Adelaide United.
A healthy crowd packed in to AAMI Park as our boys in blue returned home for the first time in season 24/25 for the Australia Cup Semi-Final.
Head Coach Patrick Kisnorbo made one change to his quarter-final winning side, with veteran Adama Traore replacing Kasey Bos.

Both sides struggled for chances to start the match, trading possesion as each looked for a breakthrough.
Limited chances came Victory’s way until the 30th minute when Adama Traore almost re-created last season’s ALM semi-final heroics in Wellington with a well-struck eft-footed shot from the edge of the box.
This time, however, the full-back’s shot was saved and deflected for a corner.
Looking to lift the pressure, Jason Geria forced anotger save out of the United keeper, after Daniel Arzani’s cross found the defender’s head in the box.
Adelaide then looked to break the deadlock on a dangerous counter-attack, but Jack Duncan was up to the task after being forced into a double save to keep the scores locked at 0-0.
The second-half started with more enegry than the first, with midfielder Zinedine Machach looking to break the deadlock in the 46th minute. A breakaway chance came the Frenchman’s way, but his shot at the top of the box was deflected for a corner.
Another chance came Victory’s was in the 63rd minute through Daniel Arzani. The pacey winger dribbled past his opponent on the left side of the box, but the Socceroo’s shot at the near post was saved.
Adelaide United almost broke Victory fans hearts in the 73rd minute when his shot beat keeper Jack Duncan, but the ball rattled of the woodwork and away to safety.
Then, as time was ticking down, enter Jordi Valadon.
Nishan Velupillay centerd his pass to the top of the box to Reno Picsopo who expertly flicked his pass to the oncoming Valadon.
Jordi’s shot sailed past every player in the box, beating the United keeper to give Victory a much earned lead.

With little time remaining, Adelaide were unable to find an equaliser.
The full-time whiste blew and Victory are through to their third Australia Cup final.
With Macarthur and South Melbourne still to play, Victory fans will need to wait another day to find out who their opponent will be.
