Melbourne Victory’s Junior Academy teams have finished the 2025 regular season on top of the Junior Boys NPL (JBNPL) Club Rankings. This ranking system combines the performance of all four Junior Academy teams against the 47 other JBNPL clubs to determine the 2026 Junior Boys structure.
As a result, Victory will field five Junior Academy teams in the rebranded Victorian Youth Premier League 1 (YPL1) next season – the highest level of competition for junior boys’ teams in the State. A new U13s team will also be introduced, with a total of 16 teams making up YPL1 in 2026.

Heading into week two of the 2025 JBNPL Finals, all four existing junior teams will compete in the finals after finishing in the top three of their respective league standings.

The U15s concluded their regular season in first place and enjoyed the weekend off ahead of a home semi-final against sixth-placed Glen Eira this coming Sunday.
Similarly, the U16s second-place finish saw them rest this past weekend while they waited to find out their semi-final opponents, which has now been confirmed as FC Bulleen Lions.
The U17s third-place finish set up an elimination final fixture v. Northcote City this past weekend which the boys in blue won 3-1. They will now play the winner of Melbourne City and FC Bulleen Lions in the U17s Grand Final following news on Friday that their fixture v.
