Melbourne Victory fans are invited to join the community campaign to Shine a Light on Road Trauma this Thursday, December 10.
This TAC initiative is an opportunity for everyone to show their commitment to road safety by driving with their headlights on.
December 10 marks 20 years since the first Transport Accident Commission advertisement went to air, the start of a long running campaign to reduce road trauma.
In the past 20 years, 8263 people were killed and more than 130,000 were seriously injured on Victorian roads.
The TAC has asked for our help in reducing road trauma.
Drivers are being asked to turn on their headlights on December 10, as a symbolic gesture of their commitment to safe driving and to commemorate those who have lost their lives on our roads.
