Melbourne Victory has added three players to an extended squad for Friday night’s Hyundai A-League blockbuster against Brisbane Roar.
Tickets for the match are available here.
Max Beister, Rashid Mahazi and Stefan Nigro have been promoted to an 18-man squad, with two players to be omitted before kick-off at AAMI Park.
Alan Baro, who received his fifth yellow card of the season in last week’s 2-0 win over Adelaide United, is out due to suspension.
Second on the Hyundai A-League ladder with a game in hand, Victory is looking for its sixth straight win on Friday night.
Victory is unbeaten in its past three home games against Brisbane with two wins and a draw, scoring five goals in the process.
Kevin Muscat’s men are also undefeated in their past six home games (across three different venues) against all opposition, scoring 20 goals in that span.
Victory has a shot conversion rate of 24.8 per cent this season, by far the most of any team and almost double that of Roar (13 per cent).
Tickets for the match are available here.
