Melbourne Victory is pleased to announce the signing of Ben Folami on a two-year contract.
Folami has signed a permanent deal with Victory, following a loan spell with the Club from English League One side, Ipswich Town.
The young Australian scored his first goal in Victory colours during the 2020 Asian Champions League and went on to score three more in the 2020/21 A-League campaign.
Victory A-League Head Coach, Tony Popovic, said he is excited to see what Folami can bring to the team this season.
“I am delighted that Ben has re-signed with the Club for the next two seasons. He showed great signs of his potential at the back end of last season,” Popovic said.
Folami, 22, will return to the first team squad on July 19th in preparation for the upcoming FFA Cup match against Perth Glory.
He joins other exciting Australian talent Lleyton Brooks, Birkan Kirdar, Nishan Velupillay and Zaydan Bello who have been confirmed so far for the upcoming season.
