The 2019 Club Victory Tournament is underway, with Berwick City Soccer Club hosting the first of three action-packed days of grassroots football that will conclude at Gosch’s Paddock on Sunday 31 March.
Proudly supported by WorkSafe Victoria, the annual competition brings together 45 Club Victory partner clubs and in excess of 600 junior participants from across regional and metropolitan Victoria, with winners to be crowned in four age groups.
The big winners from day one were Beaumaris Soccer Club. The Bayside outfit took out the Under 8, Under 10 and Under 11 competitions, while hosts Berwick City proved too strong in the Under 12 age group.
These teams will now await the results of day two of the tournament, scheduled for March 23rd at West Point Soccer Club in Point Cook, with four Grand Finals set to take place on Gosch’s Paddock on Sunday 31 March.
The winners on that day will take home the title of Club Victory Champions for 2019.
Melbourne Victory is proud of the relationships it maintains with community clubs across the state and alongside WorkSafe Victoria is committed to supporting and encouraging grassroots football participation.
