Jeff Hopkins names his extended squad to take on Perth Glory.

Paige Zois and Lia Privitelli both return to the extended squad ahead of our trip to Perth and are both hoping to crack back into the matchday squad.
Emily Gielnik is set to miss this weekends clash with a calf issue, but Head Coach Jeff Hopkins is confident the Matilda won’t be out long.
“She (Gielnik) sat down straight away as soon as she felt it. So the damage that could have been caused with her playing on has been minimised,” Hopkins said.
“But a short turnaround means that she won’t make it this weekend.”
Emma Checker’s hamstring injury is also thought to be better than expected.
“Em started to feel her hamstring late in the game against Adelaide, so we were pretty cautious with her,” Jeff said.
“I think she’s not feeling it too much, it’s just a little bit of a funny one. So we’ve got to kind of just be a little bit cautious with her over the next week.
“We’re confident it’s not a real long term thing and we know obviously the great professional that she is, she’ll do everything that she can to get herself back as soon as possible.”
