Melina Ayres became Melbourne Victory’s second top goalscorer outright in Liberty A-League history with her winner against Adelaide United.
Ayres, making her first start of the season, volleyed in a 57th-minute winner in the Semi Final at Coopers Stadium on Sunday.
It marked her 15th Liberty A-League goal for Victory, with only Natasha Dowie (34) having netted more for the Club.
Ayres broke a tie with current team-mate Amy Jackson, plus Caitlin Friend and Lisa De Vanna.
The goal sent Victory into a Preliminary Final against City at AAMI Park on Sunday, March 20.
