The teams will meet for the second time in eight days when they clash at Epping Stadium on Sunday.

Victory is coming off a record-breaking 6-0 win, the latest of several fine Derby performances in recent seasons.

Ahead of another Derby clash, we take a look at four Victory wins.

Christine Nairn made it 2-0 with a wonderful strike from out wide in the 31st minute and Victory held on at Epping Stadium as Jess Fishlock squandered a late penalty for City.

January 14, 2018: Victory 2-1 City

An own goal from Laura Brock (nee Alleway) had put Victory behind just after the hour-mark, but it produced a comeback.

Melina Ayres scored a spectacular goal from 45 yards before Christina Gibbons tucked away an 86th-minute winner.

January 5, 2019: Victory 1-0 City

Victory went on to win its first Westfield W-League Premier’s Plate in 2018/19, and a piece of Nairn magic settled this Derby.

The midfielder curled in a goal directly from a corner for the game-winner in the 88th minute.

January 10, 2021: City 0-6 Victory

Victory produced a record-breaking display at CB Smith Reserve, recording the biggest win in Westfield W-League Derby history.

Annalie Longo and Melina Ayres scored first-half goals before Lisa De Vanna’s brilliant individual effort, which started in her own half, made it 3-0.

Amy Jackson added a fourth after a one-two with Ayres, Barbieri set up Catherine Zimmerman’s first Westfield W-League goal and Kyra Cooney-Cross capped a fine performance with Victory’s sixth.
