Big names return for Glory

Melbourne Victory is set to welcome back four big names for its clash in Perth this weekend.

Melbourne Victory is set to welcome back four big names for its clash in Perth this weekend.

Captain Mark Milligan and Tom Rogic return to our Hyundai A-League squad, after missing the 3-1 win over Central Coast due to international commitments.

Adama Traore also returns to the squad after failing to complete the warm up and withdrawing from the side in Round 22, while defender Nick Ansell also returns to the squad, after serving his one week suspension received in the Melbourne Derby.

Victory head west for the second time this season, having recorded a 1-1 draw with the Glory in January on the club’s last visit to nib Stadium. Gui Finkler buried a penalty for Victory in the first half, before Perth debutant and Lithuanian international Darvydas Sernas equalised after being substituted on at half-time.

Kevin Muscat’s men will be looking to cement a top four spot this weekend, and could even finish the round in second place if Victory bring home all three points, depending on other results.
