Bos and Valadon extend contracts

Melbourne Victory is pleased to confirm that Kasey Bos and Jordi Valadon have extended their contracts until the end of the 2026/27 season.

Bos and Valadon have emerged as key members of the A-League Men’s squad after signing their first professional contracts with Melbourne Victory, and playing key roles in back-to-back promotions for the club’s NPL team over the past two seasons.

At 21 years old, Jordi Valadon has been an important presence in the A-League Men’s squad this season with the midfielder starting all 17 matches. Following on from his start in last season’s Grand Final against the Central Coast Mariners and this season’s Australia Cup Final, Valadon also scored the match winning goal against Adelaide United in the semi-final.

After making his starting debut in 2024/25, 20 year-old Kasey Bos has gone on to start 14 matches this season. Having also come to prominence during last year’s A-League Finals Series, he engineered the critical assist to send a 10-man Victory through against Melbourne City and is now an important member of Victory’s defensive line.

“We’re delighted that prodigious talents like Kasey and Jordi are committed to the club for the long term,” said Director of Football, John Didulica.

“We couldn’t be prouder of their progress through our programme and, importantly, they are both continuing to grow and improve to the point where they are now valuable members of our squad and also the Australian U23 National Team.”

Both Valadon and Bos are excited to be staying at the club that gave them their A-League debuts.

“I’m really happy to be extending my contract with Melbourne Victory,” Valadon said.

“Having started my professional career here, I’m grateful for the opportunity the Club has given me. I’m looking forward to continuing to work with all our coaches and the rest of the team as we aim for success this season.”

“Continuing my football career with Victory, for me, is something I’d definitely hoped for,” Bos said.

“Having been part of the Academy program, staying with the Club with the aim of winning games and Championships is always the goal. I want to keep contributing to the team and bringing my best football for the fans. I’m really thankful to Melbourne Victory for the opportunity to do that beyond this season.”
