Melbourne Victory’s Leigh Broxham will make his 250th Hyundai A-League appearance, should he feature against Perth Glory on Saturday night.
Broxham will become the first A-League player to reach the milestone at a single club and to add to the intrigue, Saturday’s match, his 30th against Perth, falls on his 30th birthday.
Incredibly, Broxham’s debut was in a 2-2 draw against Perth in January 2007.
