Melbourne Victory extends a warm welcome to the A-League and Westfield W-League’s new broadcast partner, Network 10 and Paramount+ who are owned by broadcast giant Viacom CBS.
Victory Chairman, Anthony Di Pietro, said the landmark partnership will open the game up to new audiences and excite the next generation of football fans.
“We are extremely pleased to welcome Network 10 and Paramount+ as our broadcast partner for the next five years,” Di Pietro said.
“This is a landmark deal for the game and for our Club. It will not only grow our reach across Australia but across the expanding Viacom CBS network.
“It’s fantastic to have the A-League back on free-to-air television during prime time on Saturday nights, and the Westfield W-League to own the Sunday afternoon timeslot on 10 Bold.
“We believe we have two strong and entertaining products in the A-League and W-League, and to partner with one of the world’s biggest content providers will not only engage the next generation of Victory fans but see our Club reach new audiences and open up new commercial opportunities.
“We are in the midst of an exciting chapter for football in this country, and the backing and investment of Network 10 and Paramount+ will help us continue to grow and strengthen our Club into the future.
“I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone at FOX Sports for their support and commitment in covering the A-League and W-League over the past sixteen years.”
Network 10 will simulcast all free-to-air matches on 10 Play. Paramount+ will be home to all A-League and W-League games and content, with Club members to receive further information about a special offer in the lead up to next season.
