Melbourne Victory can advise striker Robbie Kruse will miss the remainder of the 2019/20 Hyundai A-League season after sustaining a left knee injury at training.
Kruse underwent scans and will see a specialist in Queensland next week to further assess the extent of the injury.
General Manager Football Operations, Paul Trimboli, said the club would know more in the coming days.
“Once Robbie has finished the 14-day quarantine period here in Sydney, he will head to Queensland where he will have a Specialist review next week,” said Trimboli.
“This is disappointing news for Robbie, who was looking forward to taking part in the remainder of the season. We’ll share a further update once we know more.”
