West Point Soccer Club played host to the second day of the 2019 WorkSafe Club Victory tournament this past Saturday, with nine partner clubs providing 30 teams across four age groups for a round robin.

On an exciting and even day of competition each of the age groups produced a different winner, with Bell Park Sports Club taking out the Under 8 title, hosts West Point Soccer Club winning the Under 10 competition, Meadow Park Eagles proving too strong in the Under 11 group and Murray United taking the honours in the Under 12s.

It sets up a grandstand finale to the WorkSafe Club Victory tournament for 2019, with Saturday’s winners set to face off against the champions from day one of the competition in this Sunday’s Grand Finals to be played on Gosch’s Paddock.

Under 8: Beaumaris Soccer Club vs Bell Park Sports Club
Under 10: Beaumaris Soccer Club vs West Point Soccer Club
Under 11: Beaumaris Soccer Club vs Meadow Park Eagles Soccer Club
Under 12: Berwick City Soccer Club vs West Point Soccer Club

Unfortunately Murray United are unable to take their place in the final stage of the competition. Under 12 runners-up West Point Soccer Club will play Berwick City in their place.

Melbourne Victory congratulates each of the participating teams for their involvement in the tournament so far, and wishes the finalists luck for Sunday.
