Melbourne Victory defender Daniel Georgievski has advised the club of his desire to take up an opportunity with the Newcastle Jets next season.
Georgievski, 29, will play out the remainder of the season at Victory before departing the club.
He has made 79Â appearances for Victory in all competitions since arriving at the club for the start of the 2014/15 season.
“We accept Daniel’s decision, but our collective focus is what we can achieve together this season,” said Victory head coach Kevin Muscat.
