Melbourne Victory Football Club is offering talented and motivated young footballers the opportunity to impress the Club’s youth development coaches at number of upcoming selection days.
Melbourne Victory’s Elite Girls Program coaches will be running open sessions over the next month, providing an opportunity for young talented players to try out in order to gain entry into the Club’s youth system.
Victory’s Elite Girls Program is for talented players between Under-14 through to Under-19.
This environment is training only and is designed to complement players who are already training and playing in competitive matches with their clubs.
The Elite Girls programs has a registration fee of $500 per half year, which includes a full training kit and a 2021/22 club membership. The 2022 program will commence the first week of February.
“We want to provide opportunities to talented and motivated players across greater Melbourne through our Elite Girls Program,” said Victory’s Football Pathways Manager, Gareth Turnbull.
Details of the free selection days are as follows:
For girls born 2003 – 2008
Tuesday 18th January at Robert Barrett Reserve, Maribyrnong
Friday 21st January at Robert Barrett Reserve, Maribyrnong
11am – 12.30pm for all 2007 & 2008 born girls
12.30pm – 2pm for all 2005 & 2006 born girls
2.15pm – 3.30pm for all 2003 & 2004 born girls
Registrations close Friday 15th January 5pm.
