Melbourne Victory’s double header on Wednesday 26 January against Sydney FC at AAMI Park has been moved to Australia Day eve, Tuesday 25 January.
The match has been moved in line with Asian Football Confederation (AFC) regulations, after Football Australia confirmed the Socceroos will host a 2022 World Cup Qualifier against Vietnam on Thursday 27 January at the Melbourne Rectangular Stadium.
Victory’s Liberty A-League Women’s and Isuzu UTE A-League Men’s matches will remain at the same kick-off times of 5.05pm and 7.45pm respectively but will be hosted the day prior to their original fixtured time at AAMI Park.
Tickets for the Melbourne Victory double header will be available via Ticketek this week.
The Club has worked with Football Australia to make sure Melbourne Victory and Sydney FC members are given an opportunity to access a discount to the Socceroos game to compensate for the change in what is a traditional fixtured match between the Clubs.
A 10% discount will be available for members to the Socceroos match during the pre-sale window on Tuesday, 14 December 2021.
