The following Isuzu UTE A-League Men match review panel outcome was published on Monday, December 1, 5pm.
The independent Match Review Panel (MRP) – consisting of Simon Micallef (Chair), Rhali Dobson and Con Diomis – convened to consider one incident arising out of the Isuzu UTE A-League Men matches played between Friday, November 28 2025, and Sunday, November 30, in relation to Denis Genreau of Melbourne Victory FC.
The independent MRP considered an incident in relation to Genreau of Victory in or around the 96th minute of the match against Brisbane Roar FC on Friday, November 28 2025, in which Genreau received a direct Red Card.
In accordance with the A-Leagues Disciplinary Regulations, the MRP has the authority to consider the incident as Genreau was issued with a direct Red Card by the Referee.
The MRP determined that Genreau committed the offence of “Violent Conduct”. The Minimum Sanction for the Offence is two matches, being the Mandatory Match Suspension plus one additional match. The MRP confirmed that Genreau will serve a suspension of two matches being the Minimum Sanction for the offence. Therefore, Genreau will be eligible for selection in Victory’s match against Melbourne City FC on Saturday, 20 December 2025.
On the basis that Genreau has been issued with the minimum sanction, the Club will not be appealing the sanction.
