Jeff Hopkins re-signs as Ninja A-League Women’s Head Coach

Melbourne Victory is pleased to announce that Jeff Hopkins will continue as the Head Coach of the Club’s Ninja A-League Women’s side for the next two seasons.

Heading into his 10th season at the helm of Melbourne Victory’s A-League Women’s program, Hopkins has led the Club in more than 150 games, resulting in 3 Grand Final appearances, and the women playing off in 7 consecutive Finals Series.

Hopkins’ re-signing follows another outstanding campaign in 2024/25, with Victory going 15 matches unbeaten and recording 11 clean sheets during the regular season.

Melbourne Victory Director of Football John Didulica said he was thrilled to have Hopkins continue in the role.

“Our performance goals for next season and beyond are silverware at a national and continental level and we believe that continuing with Jeff gives our squad the best chance to achieve this,” Didulica said.

“Jeff is more than a coach to our A-League Women’s team. His care and his deep commitment to his players has created a very special environment that the entire Club is proud of. It gives every player an opportunity to be their very best.”

Hopkins said he was pleased to be continuing his time at Melbourne Victory.

“I’m proud to lead this team for another two seasons and continue our pursuit of success,” Hopkins said.

“We’ve achieved a lot in recent seasons, but I believe there’s more silverware ahead for this group, and I’m determined to help us get there.”

“The hunger to win is as strong as ever, and I’m excited for what’s to come.”

Victory’s A-League Women’s side will return for pre-season training in September ahead of the 2025/26 Season.
