Melbourne Victory’s Elvis Kamsoba has been selected in Burundi’s 28-man squad for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
Burundi qualified for the tournament, which is to be held in Egypt from June 21 to July 19, for the first time.
They will line up in Group B with Nigeria, Guinea, and fellow first-timers Madagascar.
Kamsoba signed his first professional deal with Melbourne Victory in January and looked to settle in to life at the top level well.
