Fresh from being named PFA A-League and W-League Players of the Month for November, Melbourne Victory stars Marco Rojas and Natasha Dowie have been nominated again for December.

Rojas slotted three goals last month, including a double against Central Coast Mariners and a goal in the Melbourne Derby.

The 25-year-old has scored nine goals and provided seven assists in just nine Hyundai A-League appearances this season.

The nominees for the PFA A-League Player of the Month for December are:

  • Alex Brosque (Sydney FC)
  • Danny Vukovic (Sydney FC)
  • Luke DeVere (Brisbane Roar)
  • Milos Ninkovic (Sydney FC)
  • Andrew Nabbout (Newcastle Jets)
  • Alex Wilkinson (Sydney FC)

Dowie scored in two of her four appearances for Victory in November, against Newcastle Jets and Canberra United.

She currently leads the Westfield W-League Golden Boot standings with eight goals, equal with Perth Glory’s Sam Kerr.

The nominees for the PFA W-League Player of the Month for December are:

  • Natasha Dowie (Melbourne Victory)
  • Jen Hoy (Newcastle Jets)
  • Sam Kerr (Perth Glory)

Meanwhile, Victory goalkeeper Bianca Henninger has earned an international call-up for Mexico.

Henninger, who has also represented the United States at international level, is part of the squad for next month’s friendly against Canada.

The 26-year-old, who recently returned from a knee injury, will miss Victory’s final Westfield W-League game of the season against Canberra United.
