Melbourne Victory is pleased to announce that Andrew Durante will join the Club’s A-League Men’s coaching staff under Head Coach Arthur Diles for the 2025/26 Isuzu UTE A-League season.
Durante joins the Club as an experienced coach, having been a youth coach in 2021, followed by the Assistant Coach and Player Development & Welfare Manager at Western United since August 2022, while also holding the role of Assistant Coach of the Philippines Women’s National Team since August 2023.
As a player, Durante was capped by New Zealand 24 times and made 358 A-Leagues appearances before transitioning into coaching.
Melbourne Victory Director of Football, John Didulica, said Durante brings unparalleled A-League experience into our coaching staff.
“Andrew Durante is one of the most respected professionals in the A-League so we are privileged to bring him onto our coaching staff for the upcoming season,” Didulica said.
“Andrew brings a wealth of experience at both senior men’s football and in the women’s international game. His leadership and understanding of player development will be invaluable as we continue to build a world class program.
“Andrew augments the great staff we have retained going into this season, including Arthur but also our goalkeeper coach Davide (del Giovine) and the entire support staff. These compounding gains will enable us to build a program that sees us consistently challenge for trophies and create a platform for players to springboard into elite competitions around the world.”
