Melbourne Victory is pleased to announce that goalkeeper Jack Warshawsky has signed with the Club for the upcoming A-Leagues season.
The 21-year-old has made five appearances for the U20 Young Socceroos while also gaining valuable experience in domestic competitions in both the NPL and A-Leagues, including a Championship in 2024, and participating in the AFC Champions League Two.
Originally from Caboolture, Queensland, Warshawsky most recently made six appearances for the Oakleigh Cannons FC at the end of the NPL Victoria Season.
Melbourne Victory Head Coach Arthur Diles said he was pleased to have another promising young talent joining the Clubs’ goalkeeping ranks.
“We have a strong focus of developing quality talent at Victory, and Jack is a terrific example of an up-and-coming player that we know has huge growth ahead of him,” Diles said.
“I have no doubt that Jack, alongside our existing goalkeepers Jack Duncan and Daniel Graskoski, can make an excellent contribution to the squad and help us deliver the results that our members and fans expect from Melbourne Victory.”
Relocating to continue his exciting career so far, Warshawsky said he was looking forward to joining the squad now that the NPL season has concluded.
“I’m very excited for the opportunity to join Melbourne Victory,” Warshawsky said.
“As a player, it’s a privilege to be able to join a Club with such incredible culture and passionate fans. I’m looking forward to bringing my best, continuing to improve my game and learning from our existing goalkeepers, so I can contribute each week.”
Warshawsky joins recruits Genreau, Davidson, D’Arrigo, Esposito, Jelacic, Lino, Saglam, Dragicevic, and Stella who have all joined the Club ahead of the upcoming A-Leagues season, together with Miranda, Santos, Traore, Razmovski, and Kolic who extended their contracts with the Club and academy promotions of and Mihailidis and Lazarevski.
