Melbourne Victory is delighted to announce that Natasha Dowie has signed a two-year deal with the Club.
Victory’s all-time leading Westfield W-League goalscorer, Dowie has made a huge impact since she first signed in 2015.
The former Liverpool striker said she had no doubts about returning to Melbourne to link up with Head Coach Jeff Hopkins once again.
“It was an easy decision for me because I’ve had a great playing career at Melbourne Victory,” Dowie said.
“It is by far the best club I’ve been involved in with regards to how they treat you as a player, I really feel like part of the furniture here.
“Every year I look forward to the W-League so I’m excited about getting a full pre-season under my belt and hopefully having a successful year.
“Jeff has done a great job, people want to come here and play for him because he is a great coach and well thought of in the women’s game.”

Hopkins highlighted how valuable Dowie’s professionalism and leadership qualities are to the playing group.
“Natasha’s record in Melbourne speaks for itself,” Hopkins said.
“She’s been a very important player for us over the last few years and I have no doubt that will continue into the future.
“Her standards are high, which inevitably lifts everyone around her and she’s a great role model for the younger players.”
